Cooking with Thermomix®
As an Italian cook living in Australia, I love sharing simple, delicious dishes that bring together traditional flavours with the ease of modern cooking. Utilising modern cooking techniques and appliances doesn’t mean foregoing traditions or taking shortcuts – it is just a way of adapting traditional meals to today, letting them evolve into something that can fit into our modern society rhythms and necessities. (You can read more about this in my blog post)
Here you’ll find a collection of the Thermomix® recipes I cook most often at home for my family and that I always recommend to everyone in my Thermomix® community. There is a little bit of everything: from quick weeknight pastas to comforting soups, breads, risottos and other classic Italian favourites.

My Favourite Cookidoo® Recipes
Light, pillowy, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious, these ricotta gnocchi are Italian comfort food at its finest. With your Thermomix® you’ll master the dough in minutes – no kneading, no fuss! Just beautifully tender gnocchi ready to pair with your favourite sauce.
~ I recommend using home made Tomato and Basil sauce.
Nothing beats homemade dough – the freshness, the flavour and the versatility. From pizzas and calzones to little pizzette for lunchboxes, quick breads and grissini, it all starts with a simple base. Thanks to the Thermomix® Dough Mode, your dough is ready in minutes, and you can have homemade pizza from scratch on the table in under an hour using just five simple pantry staples.
~ Fresh dough can be stored in the fridge for up to four days. In fact, allowing it to proof slowly in the fridge helps develop deeper flavour, creates beautiful air bubbles, and can make it easier to digest.
Crispy on the edges, soft and chewy in the centre – these truly are the best chocolate chip cookies ever. Made effortlessly from scratch in your Thermomix®, this recipe gives you bakery-style cookies in minutes. Perfect for afternoon treats, lunchboxes, or when you simply crave something sweet and homemade.
~ Dough can be pre-made and frozen into ball-shaped individual cookies ready to bake for any emergency!
A true Italian classic, Pasta e Fagioli (pasta and beans) is hearty, nourishing, and full of authentic flavour. Your Thermomix makes this rustic soup simple to prepare – a wholesome, one-bowl meal that feels like home with every spoonful.
~ Serve with crusty bread and a generous amount of grated Parmesan.
Rich, silky, and bursting with fresh flavour – this Creamy Tomato and Basil Soup is the ultimate comfort dish. In your Thermomix® it’s ready in no time, blending ripe tomatoes, aromatic basil, and a touch of cream into the smoothest, most comforting soup you’ll ever make.
~ Perfect for a cold winter night or served at room temperature during summer. Accompany with crostini or focaccia.
